TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship Program
The TEACH Early Childhood® South Carolina program, funded by South Carolina Department of Social Services, provides scholarships for teachers, directors, owners, and family/group providers working in childcare to complete coursework in early childhood education. Scholarships for credentials, associate degrees, and bachelor’s degrees are offered to qualifying recipients.
The TEACH Early Childhood® Program, now in its third decade, is flourishing throughout the United States as more and more states recognize the benefits of a well-educated, well-compensated early childhood workforce.
TEACH (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) offers an effective strategy for addressing the education, compensation and retention of the early childhood workforce across the country. The TEACH Early Childhood® Program is also building the capacity of educational institutions. As a purchaser of college education credits for thousands of early childhood professionals across the county, TEACH has played a significant role in increasing the demand for early childhood college level coursework.
TEACH Early Childhood® South Carolina is a licensed program of Child Care Services Association. To find more information about TEACH Early Childhood® Program in the US, please contact Child Care Services Association in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
